1. Overview
At Duplessis Builders, our goal is to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase on PickYourParadises.com. Because we offer both standard products and fully customized pool packages, our Refund & Returns Policy includes special conditions for custom work. Please read carefully before placing your order.
2. Standard Products
- Eligibility: Standard, non-custom items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.
- Exclusions: Clearance items, gift cards, and digital products are non-refundable.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
3. Custom Pools & Installation Services
- Non-Refundable: Due to the nature of custom pool construction and installations, all deposits and payments for custom pool packages are non-refundable once design work, permitting, or construction has begun.
- Cancellations: If a custom order is canceled before work begins, a cancellation fee of $1,000 (or the required deposit) will be retained to cover administrative and design costs.
- Changes: Modifications requested after work has begun may result in additional charges.
4. Defective or Damaged Items
If a product arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details.
- We will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.
- For pool components under manufacturer warranty, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to resolve the issue.
5. Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10–15 business days.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are available only for defective or damaged items that qualify under Section 4. Please contact our support team to initiate an exchange.

8. Exceptions
- Custom Work: As noted, pools and custom installations are not eligible for refunds or returns after work begins.
- Improper Use: Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors (e.g., weather, accidents) is not covered.
- Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
