Founded in 2020 by Derek and Bradie Duplessis, Duplessis Pools was started with a simple goal: to build high-quality pools the right way. The company is licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors under license RL 10842 and builds throughout South Louisiana from its showroom at 14663 Airline Highway in Gonzales.
Derek brings over 20 years of construction experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from LSU. That engineering mindset — focused on precision, durability, and problem-solving — is behind every pool we design and build.
What began as Duplessis Builders has evolved into Duplessis Pools, a company dedicated exclusively to custom pool construction. By focusing solely on pools, we’re able to deliver a higher level of quality, efficiency, and attention to detail in every project. In 2025, that focus earned us a place among the Top 50 pool builders in the country, ranked #26 nationally.
